Stephanie Schraml wins E.ON-Kulturpreis

We congratulate Dr. Stephanie Schraml for winning the E.ON-Kulturpreis for her doctoral thesis titled “Determinanten der Finanzierung von Familienunternehmen – Eine theoretische und empirische Analyse” (English: “Determinants of family firm financing – a theoretical and empirical analysis”). The price is awarded by E.ON in collaboration with “Bayrisches Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst” for the best doctoral thesis in the category „Universities” on an annual basis.

Prof. Achleitner elected in Editorial Advisory Board

Prof. Achleitner has been elected as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of The International Journal of Private Equity (IRPE). The new quarterly journal will be launched by PEI Media. Its objective is to be a repository of specialist knowledge which will help limited partners, fund managers, intermediaries and advisers make better-informed and more profitable investment decisions, while also enhancing the academic discourse about the asset class, and to aid students in their study of private equity.
